Job Summary
We're looking for experienced and customer-focused individuals to join our team as part-time Customer Service Agents. As a Customer Service Agent with blithequark, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and courteous service to all internal and external customers, ensuring a positive association with blithequark.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of our organization.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to individuals seeking to travel, use cargo or baggage services, and handle their needs efficiently.
- Handle all aspects of ticketing and registration, including working with a modernized retail point-of-sale system, boarding, baggage services, reservations, and resolving related grievances and issues.
- Greet and handle customers in a considerate and courteous manner, process payments, and manage cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons.
- Check-in baggage and cargo, answer phone calls to provide information to guests, page customers, resolve issues or objections, and assist on a case-by-case basis.
- Manage exchanges required to load the aircraft in an efficient and timely manner.
- Handle misused customers due to oversells, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage, and resolve such issues promptly and within established rules.
- Provide current and accurate flight information, schedules, reservations, and answer general inquiries from customers and other guests.
- Complete forms and reports as required by blithequark.
- Write anomaly and objection reports as needed.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
- Ability to type and use a PC keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the needs of the job.
- Able to read records, follow instructions, learn and understand ticketing procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful circumstances.
- Ability to complete the Customer Service Agent training program with an 80% or higher average and pass an assessment period.
- Awareness of hazardous situations and ability to handle emergencies on a case-by-case basis.
- Ability to work under close time constraints to achieve fast turns of aircraft.
- Well-groomed appearance and understanding of the Ground Operations Employee Handbook and Work Agreement.
- Ability to perform all job functions within a confined space.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to impart information and instructions verbally or through radio equipment.

- Previous experience in customer service or a related field.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of airline operations and regulations.
- Certification in customer service or a related field.
