Job Summary
The Integrated Data Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert for all Integrated Data Collection and Analysis Tool (IDCAT) related analyses, including Advanced Qualification Program (AQP) support. The successful candidate will analyze data collected from various Flight Safety Programs to provide concise, indicative insights to the Data Integration Group (DIG). They will also assist with analytical needs of Flight Ops Safety and perform administrative IDCAT responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly FAA reports
- Administer all components of the IDCAT software, including customer assistance and feedback monitoring for Flight Instructors/Evaluators
- Support all IDCAT software-related administrative responsibilities, including accounts, new command assist, etc.
- Download Tableau data to the Southwest Airlines server and populate current dashboards
- Analyze, create, and visualize data in Tableau workbooks/dashboards
- Categorize and organize Instructor/Evaluator measured devices and feedback for assessment
- Support IDCAT observation form format and generate/create data collection office work within the software
- Perform daily education data analyses as defined in AC 120-54a and identify gaps of effectiveness in current Flight Ops Training
- Assist in and provide assessment assistance for the quarterly data examination of the Data Integration Agency (DIG) and AQP
- Execute IDCAT Inter-Rater Reliability data assessment and facilitate IDCAT academic content
- May perform special project responsibilities as directed by Employee's Leaders
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Intermediate level experience in data analysis and visualization, project management, and complex dataset assessment
- Proficiency in Tableau data visualization and other data analysis tools
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the airline industry
- Knowledge of enterprise airline operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Alteryx
