About the Role As a Full-Time Math Instructor at Vanguard College Prep, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of future leaders. You will be responsible for instructing small groups of students in math core skills, promoting long-term understanding of topics, and helping them achieve top scores in college readiness exams such as the ACT and SAT. Key Responsibilities Instruct small groups of students in math core skills, focusing on long-term understanding and application of concepts Track student progress, identifying areas of improvement and providing individualized growth opportunities Develop and execute innovative lesson plans, incorporating real-world examples and practical applications to inspire a love for learning Mentor middle and high school students, providing empathy and support during the college application process Model professionalism, maintaining strong organizational skills, and replying to students in a timely manner Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in mathematics and education.
