Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Answer inbound phone calls from Maryland residents seeking information and assistance with health insurance coverage options.
- Customer Information Management: Update customer and account information as needed, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
- Database Utilization: Utilize multiple database applications as resources to provide customers with the information they need.

Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college attendance or degree preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Call Center Experience: Minimum 1 year of high-volume call center experience.
- Healthcare Experience: Minimum 1 year of healthcare-related customer service experience.
- Computer Proficiency: Computer proficiency, including Windows 10, MAC OS 10.14 (Mojave) or higher.
- Health Insurance Knowledge: Ability to learn and understand health insurance policy and terminology.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and interact well with customers and coworkers.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to problem-solve, prioritize, and multi-task.
- Flexibility: Must be flexible, reliable, and available for occasional overtime as needed.
- Assessment Tests: Must be able to pass required skill and knowledge assessment tests.
- Training Commitment: Able to commit to 3 weeks of class training and 4 weeks of supervised call taking (nesting) without missing any time from work.

- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment, preferably in the healthcare industry.
