Workwarp, in collaboration with the University of Exeter, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic researcher to support the work of Professor Ed Keedwell. Job Overview

This new full-time post is available from 1 November 2024 on a fixed-term basis until 17 February 2025. The successful applicant will research and develop computational methods for controlling and predicting the operation of clean technologies, including working on a range prediction tool for alternatively fuelled vessels. Using data from publicly-available sources and data provided by the industrial partner, the role will involve the development of computational (e.g., machine learning and optimisation) tools to predict the remaining range of alternatively fuelled vessels, taking into account vessel history, powertrain characteristics, and environmental factors.

The successful applicant will be educated to first degree level or possess an equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study or equivalent experience. Applicants should be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques to work within established research programmes.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
