Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the creation of and create layouts, clean-up, and paints for various film and TV tie-in programs as well as franchise extensions.
- Collaborate with staff artists, editors, and designers to ensure all aspects of title development are in synch.
- Manage and art direct outside freelance artists and revise commissioned work as needed to meet asset delivery requirements.
- Manage art asset delivery schedules and ensure that contract requests and invoicing are managed properly.
- Attend review meetings with internal staff and/or filmmakers as necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in digital illustration. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of creating high-quality illustrations in various styles.
- The ability to create illustrations in various styles. You should be proficient in creating illustrations that cater to different brands, franchises, and storytelling formats.
- The ability to manage outside freelance artists on various projects simultaneously. You should have excellent project management skills and be able to coordinate with multiple freelance artists.
- Expertise in Photoshop. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is essential for this role.
- Bachelor's Degree in illustration, fine art, or other creative discipline or equivalent experience. We welcome candidates with a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
