(AAC) team, providing insurance protection to American Express Card Members and non-Card Members through a range of products and services. We are now seeking a highly skilled and motivated Insurance Claims Representative to join our dynamic team, working 100% remotely with the flexibility to create your own schedule and work environment. About the Role and Responsibilities As an Insurance Claims Representative, you will be responsible for enrolling, servicing, and adjudicating insurance policies and claims for our Retail and Warranty products. Your duties will include investigating claims, maintaining state compliance, making decisions on claims, and interacting with customers to ensure timely and effective resolutions. You will also research warranties and repair estimates, making outbound calls to businesses and manufacturers as needed. We are looking for a team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands and shifting priorities. Investigate claims using available tools to settle them quickly and efficiently Maintain state compliance and make decisions on claims for Retail and Warranty products Interact with customers via phone to ensure timely and effective resolutions Research warranties and repair estimates by making outbound calls to businesses and manufacturers Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands and shifting priorities Demonstrate initiative with minimal supervision to drive results and achieve goals Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following essential qualifications and skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Passion for exceptional customer service and a customer-first approach Strong phone skills and ability to adapt to multiple demands and shifting priorities Ability to demonstrate initiative with minimal supervision and drive results Strong problem-solving skills, time management, and organizational skills Superior level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong proficiency in PC skills, including MS Word and Excel Preferred Qualifications and Experience While not essential, the following qualifications and experience are preferred: Insurance or customer service industry experience A current Claims Adjuster License (or ability to obtain one within the required timeframe) Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At American Express, we are committed to the growth and development of our colleagues.
