Job Summary
As an IT Business Analyst with our IT Operations Group, you will provide expert IT administration, project management, and support to ensure the operational sustainability of our critical infrastructure that supports Delta's IT operations. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality services, manage projects, and ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide IT administration and support for data center and critical facilities infrastructure, including server farms, IT certificate labs, and remote communication rooms.
- Manage and maintain effective communication and relationships with supervisory teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Oversee project management of data center and remote communication room capital enhancements, upgrades, and improvements.
- Develop and implement standards for data center and remote communication room space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with all governing corporate standards and regulations.
- Provide proactive and break-fix support for critical facilities and data center equipment.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including design standards, maintenance records, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure accurate documentation, best prices for products and services, and contractual obligations.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of data center technology and critical facilities infrastructure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, extended hours, and respond to emergency requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Four-year certification or 5+ years of relevant experience.
- IT project management experience (minimum 3 years) in a high-availability data center or critical facilities operating environment.
- Experience with data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and physical security systems.
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and standards.
