About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Geographic Information Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Geographic Data group, you will play a vital role in creating geographic data for assigned areas, designing computer-generated maps and reports, and providing administrative support to local dealmakers. Key Responsibilities
- Design computer-generated maps, reports, tables, and charts for assigned districts using MapInfo as requested by regional dealmakers.
- Process requests and orders directly from arenaflex Activities for market strategy guides and display materials.
- Perform a variety of project-specific tasks, including research and presentation of data as assigned.
- Provide administrative support to regional dealmakers by preparing accurate and timely cost reports, editing documents, booking travel, preparing visit books, and meeting other administrative requirements as needed.
- Perform general office duties, including answering incoming calls, greeting office visitors, mail handling and preparation, ensuring all office equipment is functioning correctly, and ordering office supplies.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in GIS or a related field.
- General knowledge of geographic information systems.
- Understanding of data analysis and statistical concepts.
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MapInfo.
- Certificate in GIS or two years of relevant work experience in geographic information systems.
