The Opportunity As a K-3rd Grade Tutor at Huntington Learning Center, you will have the opportunity to work directly with students in a 1:1 setting, helping them build a strong foundation in Phonics, Reading Comprehension, Writing, Math, and more. Key Responsibilities Provide personalized instruction to students in Phonics, Reading Comprehension, Writing, Math, and other subjects as needed. Work one-on-one with students to identify areas of strength and weakness and develop strategies to address them. Utilize Huntington's proven instructional methods and materials to deliver high-quality tutoring sessions. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and center staff to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in education. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required. Certification or license in education a plus. Experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with K-3rd grade students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and center staff. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Phonics and Math instruction. Familiarity with Huntington's instructional programs and methods. Previous experience working in a tutoring or educational setting.
