We're now seeking a dedicated and passionate K-8 Intervention Teacher to join our team in Taylor, Texas, and help us bridge the learning gap that emerged due to the COVID-19 pandemic. About the Role: Small Group Intervention Instruction As a full-time Intervention Teacher with Catapult Learning, you'll have the opportunity to work with small groups of students across various grade levels (K-8) in a private school setting. Your primary focus will be on delivering targeted intervention in Reading and Math, using our specially designed curriculum and instructional models. This is a unique chance to make a tangible impact on students' lives, helping them address their skill deficits and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Instruct small groups of students in Reading/ELA and Math, using company-provided materials and educational strategies. Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to students' needs, utilizing our prescribed curriculum. Ensure student safety and supervision at all times, including escorting them to and from classrooms. Perform timely data entry to meet deadlines, including student attendance, progress reports, and compliance documentation. Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences, maintaining open communication with classroom teachers, principals, and parents. Maintain accurate student records and files, adhering to company, local, state, and federal requirements. Collaborate with company supervisors, classroom teachers, and other stakeholders to drive student success. Essential Qualifications and Skills: To excel in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education or a related field. A Teaching Certificate, although not mandatory, is highly preferred. Classroom teaching and/or tutoring experience, with a focus on intervention or special education. The ability to work with diverse grade levels and student needs. Proficiency in MS Office and experience with virtual meeting tools like Zoom/Teams. A passion for helping students overcome learning challenges and achieve academic success. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with at-risk youth or students with learning difficulties. Familiarity with our company's instructional models and curriculum. A proven track record of driving student progress and academic achievement.
