Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Analyst to join our global supply chain operations team. As a Logistics Analyst, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing logistics activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of Tesla products to customers worldwide. This is a part-time position, requiring a few evenings and weekends, with a competitive hourly rate of $32/hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the beginning arrangement of commodity/import completed vehicle shipments, ensuring compliance with organizational and industry quality standards.
- Book and coordinate the most cost-effective and efficient means to import/export merchandise within anticipated requirements.
- Arrange and assist sea/air transporters to set up transportation plans, ensuring seamless execution.
- Guarantee that commodity cycle is in compliance with organization and industry quality confirmation standards (CI, Traditions, etc.).
- Set up logistics profile in framework and establish undeniably required documentation (Sea Bill of Filling, Delivery Guidance, IMO, etc.) for import and product capabilities.
- Provide exceptional support to partners throughout the shipment cycle, including prompt response to requests and issue resolution.
- Support logistics leadership with gathering and distributing logistics dashboards and metrics.
What You'll Bring
To succeed in this role, you will need to bring the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience with proof of exceptional ability.
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, with a strong understanding of sea and air cargo operations.
- Experience with Scene, SQL, and Salesforce, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of broad cargo shipping terms and standards, including Incoterms, and essential knowledge of accounting capabilities and related data recovery.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
