About the Role As a Math Teacher at Mathnasium, you will have the opportunity to work with students of various ages and skill levels, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. You will be responsible for teaching and tutoring students in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery, using our proprietary Mathnasium Method and teaching practices. Our ideal candidate is someone who is not only passionate about math but also has excellent interpersonal skills, is eager to learn, and is committed to making a difference in the lives of our students. Key Responsibilities: Teach and tutor students in a group setting, using the Mathnasium Method and teaching practices Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction and support Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure student success Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Passion for math and working with students Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Eagerness to learn and be trained on our teaching methodologies and materials Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I Ability to balance various ongoing tasks and prioritize responsibilities Availability to work part-time hours, including afternoons and weekends All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.
