We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated NERA Research Associate to join our Auctions Group, located in our New York City or Washington, DC office. As a Research Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, designing and conducting energy auctions, empirical analyses, modeling, and interfacing with regulatory authorities. This is a unique chance to join a global firm that uses quantitative methods to drive success in the energy and renewable energy sectors.
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong academic record, exceptional analytical skills, and quantitative skills. A Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, environment/energy sector, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree in economics, business, or environment is highly desirable, as is prior experience in the energy markets, especially renewable energy markets.

We offer a competitive total rewards package, including a salary range of $90,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, and location.
