We are now seeking an experienced Online Data Entry Clerk and Online Chat Assistant to join our dynamic team, working remotely from the United States.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our technology team to develop and maintain coverage, provide departmental insights on performance, and create data models to solve various quantitative tasks. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Creating new, modifying existing, and performing ad-hoc reporting to support business processes and data-driven decision-making
- Developing and maintaining robust Data Quality standards and controls to ensure data integrity and accessibility
- Managing and creating new data pipelines from source systems to the Data Warehouse
- Collaborating with stakeholders, including Monitoring and Business Analysts, to understand business needs, maintain complete documentation, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements
- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data architecture
- Applying data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI
- Assisting in the automation of existing business functions and enhancing exception-based reporting
- Partnering with IT and business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and acquire new data variables (data mining)
- Evaluating large datasets to identify relevant patterns that provide actionable insights
- Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources and resolving discrepancies
- Validating data for accuracy by verifying against requirements
- Investigating data errors and remediating poor data quality
- Participating in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and policies & procedures
- Reviewing and validating metrics to ensure effectiveness and providing feedback to team leaders on areas that require attention
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- 2+ years of experience performing comprehensive data analysis
- Strong experience working with Power BI, including creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
- Proficiency in DAX, SQL, and M Code
- Experience with ETL tools, such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations
- Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other methodologies
- Problem-solving skills with statistical analysis and large data sets highly preferred
- Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query
- Familiarity with Smartsheets
- Strong work ethic and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
