About the Role
As an Online Special Education Teacher with VocoVision, you'll have the opportunity to work with students in grades 6th through 10th, implementing a Pull-Out/Resource Learning Model that caters to their unique needs. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home and enjoy a flexible schedule.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise and assist both staff and students, helping develop ongoing professional training programs that enhance educational outcomes.
- Offer expert advice and address inquiries related to student support, directing complex issues to the appropriate specialists to ensure comprehensive care.
- Inform and empower students and their families about important aspects of their educational journey, promoting a collaborative approach to learning.
- Manage a caseload of students, providing personalized support and guidance to help them achieve their academic goals.
- Implement and adapt the Pull-Out/Resource Learning Model to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Other duties as assigned, including participation in training sessions and collaboration with colleagues to drive educational excellence.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- Current Special Education license for Ohio, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to special education.
- At least two years of experience in an educational environment, with a proven track record of supporting students with diverse needs.
- Master's degree in Special Education or a similar discipline, showcasing your advanced knowledge and understanding of special education principles and practices.
