Job Summary
We're seeking experienced customer support representatives who are music enthusiasts and excel in fast-paced, virtual environments. As a Part-Time Chat Customer Service Agent at Blithequark, you'll play a vital role in helping fans via ticketing, addressing questions and concerns about music merchandise, password resets, website assistance, and more. Key Responsibilities:
- Express genuine empathy and concern for customers' issues, addressing them as if they were your own
- Answer, evaluate, and prioritize requests from customers having questions or experiencing problems with services or products
- Identify high-risk customer situations and escalate them appropriately without hesitation
- Manage multiple chats simultaneously, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency
- Accurately document all required information and chat details in the ticketing system
- Respond to and resolve open issues in an appropriate timeframe, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Identify trends related to systems, platforms, and/or customers, and escalate them to management
- Multi-task using multiple systems, switching between tasks without loss of efficiency or composure
- Maintain punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, being available at your desk and ready to work
- Remain positive and professional in all customer interactions, providing exceptional service
- Flexibility to cross-train as requested, adapting to changing priorities and workflows
Essential Qualifications:
- A genuine love of music, particularly in the Pop and Country genres
- 3-5 years of call center chat experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- Technical experience, with proficiency in software applications and systems, preferably Zendesk
- Typing speed of 30 wpm with 90% accuracy or above, consistently
- Strong messaging communication skills, with active listening abilities and excellent grammar
- Ability to work independently, utilizing resources to resolve customer issues and make informed decisions
- Great understanding of text and chat acronyms, with the ability to adapt to changing terminology
- Previous work-from-home experience, with a proven ability to work in a virtual environment
- Understanding of contact center support metrics, with the ability to implement actions for improvement
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the music industry, with knowledge of current artists and trends
- Familiarity with customer service software, such as Zendesk or similar platforms
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
Hardware and Software Requirements:
To ensure seamless performance and productivity, the following hardware and software requirements must be met:
- Your own computer, with a processor having more than 4 cores
- Memory: 8GB on Windows 10 or higher / 10 64 bits
- Screen Resolution: 1280x768 or higher, with dual monitors required
- USB headset, with a reliable internet connection
- No Chromebooks, iPads, MacBooks, netbooks, or any type of tablet (Must be a laptop or a desktop)
- Up-to-date antivirus software, with a recent scan completed
- Must be hardwired to router, with firewall enabled
