**Job Summary**
We're seeking part-time Inbound Chat Operators to join our team and engage in online conversations with customers, representing our automotive dealer clients favorably. As a Chat Operator, you'll be responsible for handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about our products and services, and capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review.
**Responsibilities**
* Handle a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, responding to questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
* Provide accurate information about our products and services via online chat, ensuring that customers have a seamless and enjoyable experience
* Narrow down on appointment information to schedule appointments, ensuring that customers are able to book appointments with our clients
* Capture customer contact information for lead generation and client review, helping our clients to generate revenue and grow their business
* Summarize interactions based on customer needs for client review, providing valuable insights and feedback to our clients
* Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and innovations in the automotive industry
**Qualifications**
* Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry is preferred, but not necessary
* Basic internet and window-based computer skills are required, as well as a strong ability to multitask and adapt to change
* Positive and professional demeanor is essential, as is excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above being preferred
* Must have your own computer or laptop with a webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse
* Quiet, dedicated work space free from distractions is required, as this is a remote position
**Training and Requirements**
* On-the-job training via Zoom will be provided to ensure that you have the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this role
* Must be able to attend 4 weeks of full-time remote training, Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 11:00 am-7:30pm EDT
* Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated work space free from distractions
