Key Responsibilities
As a Part Time Class 2 Hiab driver, you will be responsible for:
- Safely operating a Class 2 Hiab vehicle to transport and deliver goods to customers
- Loading and unloading materials using the Hiab crane, ensuring accuracy and care
- Making timely deliveries in accordance with customer requirements and expectations
- Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, maintaining a spotless driving record
- Performing routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure the vehicle remains in good working condition
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- Providing exceptional customer service during deliveries, representing our client in a professional and courteous manner
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A valid Class 2 driver's license with no more than 6 points for SP offences
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with experience operating a Hiab crane
While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:
- A driving licence with a clean or near-clean record
- Previous experience working in the construction or logistics industry
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
