**Job Description:**
As a Part-Time Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our customer and staff databases. Under direct supervision, you'll be responsible for entering data into computer databases, verifying results, and correcting errors. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure that our databases are up-to-date and reliable.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Enter alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents using online computer terminals or personal computers
* Verify results according to procedures provided and recognize and correct errors in original data prior to processing
* Recognize deficiencies in source documents and return them to the originator for correction
* Maintain customer and staff databases, as well as computerized departmental records
* Perform clerical duties for the office administrator, as needed
* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Some data entry experience (previous experience in a similar role is preferred)
* Proficient typing and keyboarding skills (at least 40 wpm)
* Ability to use personal computers and software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and perform word processing tasks
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to meet established deadlines and work under pressure
