Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Part Time Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing data entry tasks, answering high-volume customer requests, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and customers. Key Responsibilities
- Utilize arenaflex's prescription data entry methods and guidelines to process new patient enrollments by entering information into the appropriate system.
- Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
- Investigate to obtain missing prescription information and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes).
- Resolve all data entry-related exceptions.
- Handle communication to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis.
- Resolve Third-Party Rejections by investigating, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.
- Make phone calls to payers and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve Third-Party Rejections.
- Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those at different locations.
- Identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate.
- Acquire an active professional license or certification within the first 90 days and maintain an active professional license or certification.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Basic level computer skills (e.g., start and shut down a computer, use a mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between applications, save files, print documents, and access information online).
- Basic web browser skills to include opening a browser, typing in URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a site, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
- Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction.
- Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
