Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Part-Time Temporary Stock and Support Associate to join our team at Disney Springs. As a key member of our stock team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, including processing inbound deliveries, maintaining merchandise organization, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Process inbound deliveries in a timely manner, prioritizing daily workload to ensure efficient stock management.
- Ensure proper organization and accessibility of merchandise, maintaining high standards of stockroom and selling floor presentation.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of stock, including quantity, units on hand, and sales performance to inform stock management decisions.
- Support floor moves and ensure the selling floor is stocked throughout the day, responding to changing customer demands.
- Conduct price changes and markdowns as necessary, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain overall cleanliness and organization standards on the selling floor, in the stockroom, and offsite/warehouse, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- Audit compliance and achieve shrinkage goals, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, prioritizing guests while supporting sales floor operations and cashiering or greeting customers when needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail industry as a stock associate or similar role.
- High school degree preferred.
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment, promoting collaboration and communication.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably with a luxury or lifestyle brand.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn and operate inventory management systems.
- Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
Physical Requirements
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Standing for extended periods, with frequent stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
