About the Role
As a Pediatric Radiologist in this remote evening shift role, you will be responsible for interpreting imaging studies, including plain films, ultrasound, CT body, and CT neuro, for pediatric patients. You will work closely with our client's medical staff to provide accurate and timely diagnoses, ensuring the highest level of patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret imaging studies, including plain films, ultrasound, CT body, and CT neuro, for pediatric patients
- Work closely with medical staff to provide accurate and timely diagnoses
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology with General Pediatric Radiology experience
- Active Kentucky medical license or approved IMLC to obtain KY
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology or related field
- Experience working in a Level 1 trauma facility
- Knowledge of electronic medical records and other healthcare software
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
