Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our Centralized Services team, responsible for executing medical services methodologies, driving patient wellness results, and ensuring consistency of clinical pharmacy services. As a key member of our team, you will be accountable for implementing patient intervention pharmacy programs, driving pharmacy financial performance, and fostering strong relationships with clinical communities. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, with a focus on data entry and pharmacy operations excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute patient intervention pharmacy programs, including drug treatment management, vaccination services, and payer and pharma adherence and clinical projects
- Drive consistency and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services
- Ensure regional pharmacies comply with regulatory requirements, standard operating procedures, and FDA guidelines
- Drive local pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies with the organization's financial objectives
- Implement and execute patient intervention pharmacy projects to maximize financial performance
- Support efforts to enhance the patient experience by expanding the focus on healthcare services, including patient consultations, medication management, and retail, clinical, or wellness services
- Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field initiatives
- Conduct data and clinical reviews, making strategic decisions to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions
- Review drug records and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe medication treatment, providing individualized patient/supplier consultation
Essential Qualifications
- Current Pharmacist license, as conferred by the relevant state licensing authority
- Experience motivating colleagues to research and resolve issues
- Experience working with confidential information
- Ability to work non-standard hours, including evenings, holidays, and/or weekends
- Experience utilizing time management skills, such as prioritizing/organizing and following details and meeting deadlines
- Experience creating approaches to achieve goals with minimal supervision, relying on oneself to complete objectives and determining when to escalate issues
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction
Preferred Qualifications
- Willingness to acquire additional state pharmacy licenses, if required
- Knowledge of insurance plans
- Knowledge of computer operating systems, including Radio, Commitment, and Plus
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (e.g., opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste, and save functions, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting borders, selecting page orientation, using spell check, or printing worksheets)
- Basic level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., inserting, editing, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, expanding list level, adding, centering, and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or note, moving objects, printing frame view, or running a slide show)
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (e.g., opening a document, cutting, copying, and editing text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and column width, formatting, inserting shots, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, fix, spell check, track changes, review sheet, or print capabilities)
