As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting pharmacists with prescription processing, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: * **Customer Experience** + Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. + Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience. + Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. * **Operations** + Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. + Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items. + Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested. + Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. + Take customers to OTC aisle when possible to assist in locating products. * **Pharmacy Operations** + Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow. + Utilize pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring information is entered correctly. + Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs. + Verify medicine is correct and check for possible interactions. + Report prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adhere to Company policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program. * **Inventory Management** + Assist and support Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals. + Maintain knowledge of Company asset protection techniques and file claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods involving Rx drugs. * **Customer Service in the Photo Area** + Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine. + Suggestively sell promotional photo products. * **Web Pick-up Responsibilities** + Monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, fill orders (pick items), and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store. * **Exterior and Interior Maintenance** + Ensure clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance. + Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers. **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required. * PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration. * Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. * Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations. * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register. **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail environment. * Knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures. * Experience with pharmacy systems and equipment. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong customer service skills and ability to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations. * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures. * Experience with pharmacy systems and equipment. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
