You'll be responsible for performing order entry tasks, collaborating with pharmacists to ensure accuracy, and providing top-notch customer service to our patients and their families. **Day in the Life**
As a Pharmacy Technician Data Entry and Customer Service Specialist, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including:
* Performing order entry tasks and collaborating with pharmacists to ensure accuracy
* Providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families
* Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
* Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
* Assisting in reviewing narcotic Rx's in a timely manner
* Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
* Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

**Required Qualifications**
To be considered for this role, you'll need to possess:
* Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
* One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, we're looking for candidates with:
* Prior experience in the long-term care industry
* PTCB National Certification
* Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $28.46. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
