Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a work-from-home opportunity with Aetna Jobs Students Phoenix $25/Hour. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients and clients by accurately processing prescriptions, communicating with healthcare providers and insurance companies, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately read, interpret, and enter prescriptions into the computer system, including calculating dosages and preparing medication orders.
- Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to verify prescription information and resolve any discrepancies.
- Process and manage new patient medication orders and reorders, including checking and re-verifying benefits.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
Essential Qualifications
- Idaho Pharmacy Technician License (or verification of application prior to start date).
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification or equivalent required within one year of hire.
- At least six months of experience working in a pharmacy setting.
- At least six months of experience working with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications.
- Proficiency in typing and computer skills, with the ability to sit or stand for extended periods (8-10 hours).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a healthcare or insurance setting.
- Pharmacy Technician certification or higher.
- Experience with prescription processing and medication management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.

Compensation and Benefits
