Key Responsibilities As a Product Owner at Workwarp, your key responsibilities will include: Establishing and maintaining relationships with business and technology stakeholders to drive product strategy and prioritization decisions Serving as a liaison between the business and development teams, acting as the voice of the customer and communicating requirements and needs to the product team Delivering on-time, on-budget, on-quality, and on-fit services or products Owning, maintaining, and continuously grooming the team backlog Facilitating the delivery of features along with the Scrum Master by refining and improving processes that lead to more efficient development cycles Working within an Agile framework to develop and execute against a product roadmap Developing user stories with detailed requirements and acceptance criteria that address end-user needs Participating in recurring Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Demos, and more Establishing and maintaining metrics that track the value of delivered features and team output Ensuring that value is generated back to the enterprise through diligence in prioritization and delivery Managing upgrades and ensuring that products or product elements are up to date to avoid technical debt Maintaining an innovating and future-proofing agenda for given products Maintaining primary responsibility for product team operations, including financial management and resourcing (varies by team) Anticipating, mitigating, and chaperoning escalations Performing other duties as assigned by the manager Supervision and Leadership While the Product Owner will not have formal people management or reporting responsibilities, they are responsible for leading their product team in delivering against sprint goals. This requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to influence and motivate team members to achieve their best. Relationships and Collaboration The Product Owner will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including: Internal: Business stakeholders and end-users, IT leadership, IT delivery (Scrum Masters, developers, architects, UX designers, program managers, etc.) External: Application/systems vendors (as applicable) Building strong relationships with these stakeholders is critical to the success of the product and the team. Work Environment and Travel This is a 100% remote role, with the potential for up to 20% travel dependent on business needs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a remote environment and be able to manage their time and priorities effectively. Minimum Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: 5+ years of demonstrated experience in product ownership, product management, business consulting, IT business analysis, or another related field A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred: Dynamics 365 financial experience or very similar ERP system (SAP Financial or Oracle Financial) Agile or SAFe certification(s) Demonstrated ability to influence change within large, complex organizations Experience using Agile project management tools (e.g. Atlassian) and flowchart tools (e.g. Visio, Lucid Chart) Experience with eCommerce, restaurant, and/or wholesale food distribution industries Compensation and Benefits Workwarp offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including: A base salary range of $85,000-$140,000, depending on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law An annual incentive plan bonus Health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance To review available benefits, please visit: Career Growth and Development At Workwarp, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
