Job Overview and Key Responsibilities
As a Public Tag Agent Specialist, you will play a critical role in the profitable growth and attainment of business goals by marketing and servicing customers with public tag agent services. This role is responsible for assisting walk-in customers, supporting office operations, and marketing products outside of the office via marketing calls and visits. Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Understanding, promoting, and remaining current on Office of Motor Vehicle guidelines, announcements, and memos related to changes in policies and procedures
- Receiving customer payments, issuing receipts, and verifying reports of receipts for cash drawers
- Completing and reporting the Office of Motor Vehicles inventory in accordance with their policies
- Providing service to customers seeking to pay registration license taxes and issue registration certificates and license plates
- Developing and managing customer relationships and serving as a resource to current and potential customers
- Building and maintaining relationships with community organizations and local businesses
- Meeting and exceeding sales goals through new product sales, cross-selling, and retention of current customers
- Understanding, promoting, and remaining current on company underwriting guidelines, announcements, and memos related to changes in company policies and procedures
Essential and Preferred Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
- 0-2 years of experience in a related field (Preferred)
