Job Overview

The QA Analyst position at blithequark is a full-time, remote opportunity that offers a competitive salary of $26 per hour. As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for establishing measurement and dashboard requirements, improving existing estimation systems and tools, and optimizing data solutions for budget and mission estimation. This is a contract position that requires a strong background in data analysis, process improvement, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with advertising campaign managers, operations, and our central analytics team to gather data and metrics requirements
• Manage and optimize integrated reporting for internal advertising spend and performance, leading audits, improving data processes surrounding data flow, and ensuring data accuracy
• Oversee in-house processes for advertising experimentation, tracking and logging ongoing studies/tests across blithequark platforms, and building automation to improve data accuracy and scalability
• Write high-quality SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from database tables
• Collaborate with our analytics and cross-functional partners to identify and rectify data integrity/accuracy issues across our reporting, data framework, and dashboards

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in SQL (Oracle, Vertica, Hive, MySQL, etc.)
• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Experience building/working with distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large datasets from multiple sources
• Self-starter with flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment and uncertain circumstances
• Experience working independently and a history of taking initiative
• Solid presentation and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Computer Programming or equivalent training
• Experience with data analysis, process improvement, and team collaboration
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
