Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and guidance to billing staff in the revenue cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts receivable
- Assist Business Services Managers in managing accounts receivable, including collections from insurance companies, governmental payers, and other sources of payment
- Promote positive customer and inter-departmental relations, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and collaboration
- Assist in the development and implementation of initiatives that promote effectiveness and efficiencies within the operational scope of Business Services
- Contribute to the achievement of departmental budget goals, including staffing and supply management
- Oversee and participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by Business Services Managers or Directors
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in revenue cycle management, leadership, and customer service. The following qualifications are essential:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in Physician and/or Hospital Revenue Cycle Billing
- 5+ years of successful work experience in a similar position
- Strong language skills, with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Excellent mathematical skills, with the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
- 10+ years of successful work experience in a similar position
