About the Role
As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the frontline representative of our customer service team, providing top-notch support and service to our clients. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with the option to pick up necessary equipment from our location near Sacramento, CA, if you're within a 50-mile radius. For those outside this area, equipment will be mailed to you.
To ensure your success in this role, blithequark will provide comprehensive, paid training. This training will equip you with the tools, resources, and knowledge needed to handle customer inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to general to moderately complex telephone calls, troubleshooting and resolving customer issues in a timely manner.
- Utilize an automated system to answer telephone calls, responding to customer inquiries or forwarding calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Research member or provider calls/inquiries and respond to appropriate parties in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Record calls in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) ticketing solution, resolving customer requests/inquiries and updating CRM history with the results of the inquiry.
- Interface with team personnel, management, and customers regarding customer service issues.
- Conduct outbound calls to customers as needed.
- Assist callers in completing online applications.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and policies as they apply to the programs we service.
- Adhere to provided schedules and respond to telephone inquiries within set time parameters.
- Complete all assigned training as necessary.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience.
- Experience working with computer software, customer relationship management tools, and telephone technology.
- Proficiency in the use of help desk software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable internet connection with download speeds of at least 60mbps and upload speeds of at least 6mbps (as verified through speedtest.net).
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, having experience in a call center environment or working with government programs can be beneficial. Additionally, knowledge of CRM systems and help desk software is a plus.
