Job Overview
As a Remote Data Entry and Analysis Specialist at blithequark, you will play a critical role in the success of our organization. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of complex analyses, reporting solutions, and packages to meet business needs. You will work closely with internal clients and colleagues to develop reporting and analytic solutions, as well as software design.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal partners and teams to design and develop reporting solutions, analytic research, and packages to support business objectives
- Develop, validate, and execute complex queries, develop complex reports, and perform complex data analysis to answer business questions for internal clients
- Design and develop applications for internal clients
- Evaluate data needs of assigned projects, ensure data integrity and suitability, and determine data collection methods, metrics definitions, and assessment methods
- Turn data into actionable insights through reporting solutions
- Troubleshoot technical issues and problems
- Present analysis and reports to internal clients and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- 2-4+ years of experience in most of the following areas:
- Experience with Microsoft Access (manipulating forms, tables, queries, etc.)
- Experience with Excel and Visual Basic for Applications
- Experience with reporting platforms – SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS)
- Development programming languages/knowledge/experience – ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript
- Development database languages/knowledge/experience – Transact SQL
- Database knowledge/experience – MS SQL Server
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience with reporting platforms – WEBI (SAP BI Launchpad)
- Knowledge of blithequark systems, databases, and underlying information structures (e.g., ACAS, HMO, HRP, etc.)
- Database knowledge/experience – Hadoop, Oracle
- Development database languages/knowledge/experience – Oracle PLSQL
- Crystal Reporting experience
