About the Role and Our Team
This part-time opportunity is an integral part of our A319/A320/A321 Fleet Engineering Team within the Technical Operations Division. Our team is dedicated to troubleshooting and resolving operational issues on transport category aircraft, ensuring the highest levels of safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. As a Remote Data Entry and Aviation Engineering Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing engineering support on various aircraft systems, improving associated reliability through project management, and contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep informed of day-to-day airline operations involving your field of responsibility, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in aviation engineering.
- Assess daily priorities in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and vision.
- Investigate aircraft/component problems that may cause aircraft delays or cancellations, substantial expenditures in manpower or materials, or interruptions in maintenance operations, and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Provide Engineering support as required for the disposition of discrepant conditions affecting aircraft or components, restoring serviceable status and minimizing downtime.
- Respond to requests from Maintenance and other airline departments when technical assistance is required to support projects or resolve problems, fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
- Develop action plans for fleet/multi-fleet and/or component engineering projects, pursuing final dispositions according to assessed priorities and ensuring effective project management.
- Coordinate with other airline departments, as required, to provide for effective and efficient implementation of engineering dispositions, promoting a seamless and integrated approach to our operations.
- Prepare Engineering documents to implement technical dispositions, providing customized procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections, or other maintenance actions that align with airline/departmental objectives and management directives.
