- Create programming programs, algorithms, dashboards, data tools, and queries to clean, model, integrate, and evaluate datasets.
- Stay informed about new scientific techniques and innovations, and collaborate with functional specialty units to drive business solutions and direction.
- Establish credibility with partners while managing expectations, and ensure regular, consistent, and effective communications with colleagues and partners to define expectations and arrange boundaries properly.
- May foster a budget for the practical region, oversee the budget to design, and be responsible for region budget and delivering against business objectives/goals.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience with analysis and statistical software like SQL, R, Python, Excel, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, and/or others to perform analysis and interpret data.
- Profound knowledge of SQL and open-source data science and statistics packages like Python, R, Spark, etc.
- Experience establishing and maintaining key associations with inside (peers, colleagues, and leadership) and outside (business community, clients, and vendors) partners to foster strategies that meet office objectives within budget and timelines.
- At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace, and at least 2 years of direct management, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (inside state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Advanced degree in a quantitative, computational, or technical discipline.
- Experience communicating at the executive level.
