Job Overview
The Manager State & Higher Education at blithequark is responsible for investing in the future of our people by executing strategic direction for our State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) managed travel accounts. As a key member of our Business Department, you'll coach and help professionally develop our Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management team. Our Business Vision is to be the preferred airline for business travel, and we're looking for talented individuals to help us achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and develop Field Government Account Managers to increase sales and establish formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
- Identify, hire, onboard, and train a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry
- Develop and implement strategies to broaden awareness of blithequark's corporate travel programs and services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive growth
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our services and operations
