About the Role We are seeking a motivated and talented finance and accounting professional to join our finance team in the USA. As a key member of our team, you will work with various teams to optimize financial operations and processes in the USA, focusing on accounting, compliance, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be a good fit with Netflix's values and culture, able to work well within an organization, and have a hands-on mindset. Key Responsibilities Preparation of statutory accounts for US corporate entities Understanding USA filing requirements Conducting mandatory audits Driving automation projects to optimize overall financial operations and processes from an accounting and reporting perspective Multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting several tight deadlines Flexibility to work with Netflix teams across multiple time zones Willingness to travel to our overseas and EMEA offices Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting and finance experience (a combination of public accounting and internal experience preferred) A Bachelor's or academic degree in accounting and on track to complete (or have already completed) RA / CA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent Experience with statutory reporting and leading (first year) financial audits Experience working in a multinational environment and ability to work with cross-functional teams in legal, tax, accounting, content, etc. Experience working with service providers, such as external auditors and third-party accountants Advanced MS Excel and Google Sheets experience with the ability to navigate large datasets Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience in the entertainment/technology industry Experience with Workday Financials or other cloud-based ERP systems Language skills in addition to English Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong accounting and financial analysis skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively and autonomously in a fast-paced environment Strong project management and organizational skills Ability to build strong working relationships with external consultants and internal teams Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Netflix, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
