Key Responsibilities
- Contact physician's offices as needed for refill authorization, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Contact clients for verification of orders as needed, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues promptly.
- Process all new and refill prescriptions, maintaining productivity and quality standards.
- Open orders as needed, verify eligibility, proof, and input prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Document correspondence and follow up in the system, maintaining clear and concise records.
- Prepare audit sheets and provide feedback to managers, contributing to continuous quality improvement.
- Forward incomplete or rejected scripts to the appropriate department for resolution, tracking status in the system and ensuring timely resolution.
- Initiate and document correspondence and follow up in the system, maintaining open communication with stakeholders.
- Assist with research of lost or missing orders per internal department requests, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to help.
- Provide backup support to other pharmacy groups based on business needs or production levels, showcasing adaptability and teamwork.

Essential Qualifications

- A High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
