Experienced Remote Regional Admissions Recruiter – Higher Education Recruitment and Student Enrollment Specialist

Job Overview The Regional Admissions Recruiter will play a vital role in our Admissions team, focusing on recruiting prospective students and supporting them through the acceptance process. This remote position, based in the DC, Maryland, or Virginia area, requires an individual who is self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently. The successful candidate will develop and execute effective recruitment strategies for assigned geographic territories, plan and conduct recruitment travel, generate inquiries and applications, and build relationships with influencers involved in the college search process. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment plans to meet enrollment goals for assigned territories Build and maintain relationships with high school counselors, teachers, and other influencers to promote Penn College programs Conduct recruitment travel, including college fairs, high school visits, and other events to promote Penn College and its programs Generate inquiries and applications through effective communication and follow-up with prospective students and their families Provide exceptional customer service to prospective students, families, and other stakeholders Collaborate with the Admissions team to achieve enrollment goals and objectives Stay up-to-date on trends in higher education and adapt recruitment strategies accordingly Maintain accurate records and reports on recruitment activities and results Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as education, marketing, or communications Experience in college admissions, recruitment, or a related field, such as marketing, sales, or customer service Developed organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Sensitivity to the expectations of students, parents, and staff, with a strong customer-service orientation Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively to diverse audiences Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation Solid technical skills, including Microsoft Office and other software applications A valid driver's license and the ability to travel for recruitment events and activities Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in higher education, particularly in admissions or recruitment Knowledge of college admissions software and systems, such as CRM or student information systems Experience with data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret and apply data to inform recruitment strategies Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Penn College, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
