Essential Qualifications: Education & Prior Job Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
- 5 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale programs in hosted production environments, with a focus on full-stack development and cloud technology.
- 5 years of professional, design, and open-source experience, with a strong portfolio of projects that demonstrate your skills and expertise.
Preferred Qualifications: Education & Prior Job Experience
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- A Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
- 7 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and to a high standard.
- Airline Industry experience, with knowledge of the unique challenges and opportunities faced by airlines, and how technology can be leveraged to drive success.
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Proficiency in Full Stack Development, with experience in designing, developing, and implementing large-scale programs and systems.
- Proficiency and proven experience with the following technologies:
- Front-end: Angular 10+, CSS, cross-browser compatible software development.
- Web Services: RESTful API development using the .NET stack, object-oriented design strategies, and principles.
- Database and persistence frameworks: Object/Relational mapping, query performance tuning, SQL Server.
- Understanding of cloud-native development, deployment, and orchestration: microservice architecture patterns, containers, Azure cloud.
- Proficiency in object-oriented design strategies and principles, with experience in applying these principles to real-world problems.
- Experience in Agile methodologies, including SCRUM, with a strong understanding of how to apply these methodologies to drive team collaboration and delivery.
