Job Overview: SAP HCM Functional Analyst We're seeking a highly skilled SAP HCM Functional Analyst to join our team in San Diego. As a key member of our SAP Capability Center, you'll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our SAP systems, focusing on Time and Allowance configuration and processing. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in SAP HCM and contribute to the success of our global operations. Key Responsibilities Design and implement SAP HCM framework, including Finance, Time, Benefits, Organization Management, Personnel Administration, and ESS, with a focus on Time and Allowance configuration. Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements, define functional specifications, and develop business process diagrams, system designs, and test plans. Support the development team during the detailed design and coding phase, ensuring alignment with business requirements. Perform unit, regression, and integration testing, and develop scripts as needed. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure thorough functional testing of implemented applications. Present, discuss, and demo SAP Best Practices to stakeholders. Manage upgrade projects, planning, and execution. Coach less experienced colleagues on SAP configuration concepts and tool suite. Participate in team activities and planning to improve team skills, awareness, and work quality. Maintain a high level of self-improvement in technology, business knowledge, and Costco policies and platforms. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: 2+ years of experience designing SAP in a professional environment on SAP ERP 6.0 HCM or higher, with a strong background in Time and Allowance configuration and processing. 2+ years of experience supporting and troubleshooting Time and Quantity processes and issues. A good understanding of SAP Finance and related business and execution processes within SAP HCM. Strong knowledge of integration between SAP modules. The ability to be proactive, take on full responsibility for module development activities, and work with minimal supervision. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications can significantly enhance your candidacy: Experience with full life-cycle implementation projects. A proven track record of successful project execution and follow-up. An in-depth understanding of HR and Finance best practices for SAP. Proficiency in ABAP for HR/Finance and troubleshooting experience. Leadership and mentorship skills. Experience with Canada localization is a plus.
