Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations, produce data-driven insights, develop high-impact solutions, and communicate accurate results to stakeholders and management
• Present findings with a clear perspective and compelling observations, enabling insights to drive product strategy
• Design, distribute, and maintain flexible self-service tools and dashboards that align with broader departmental objectives, allowing cross-functional partners to access data and identify key insights
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to identify areas of opportunity, define and implement tracking designs for the toolset, and influence prioritization decisions with data
• Mentor departmental colleagues on analysis best practices, technical skills, and developments in our organization's data architecture

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Economics, or other quantitative and technically rigorous field required
• 2+ years of work experience in a relevant field, ideally in business analysis, strategy, startup/tech, or marketing
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication style according to the audience
• Strong technical aptitude, with demonstrated experience using data from multiple sources to solve complex problems, tell a story, and impact overall strategy
• Proficiency in SQL/Eden, Google Cloud Platform, and Excel/Google Sheets
• Experience with visualization tools, such as Google Data Studio, Looker, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python/Git is preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of data architecture and data governance principles
• Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis, data mining, and data visualization
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms
