Job Overview

As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the development of comprehensive and robust enterprise solutions for our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Client Experience, Marketing, Product, and Support, to build seamless and vigorous enterprise-grade products. Key Responsibilities
- Define, prioritize, and execute product development discussions and guide practical requirements to technical plans and an enterprise roadmap
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and processes
- Review designs and implementations created by software and automation engineers - be a trusted and helpful partner in technical conversations
- Communicate and drive decisions (written and oral) on various aspects, such as user experience, technical design, privacy, and security
- Build tools and workflows that help engineers understand their project's impact on managed enterprise and educational environments
- Collaborate with our team to drive cycles, awareness, and reliability for critical client workflows across Apple's enterprise environment
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 2+ years of experience deploying and managing Macs, iPads, iPhones, and Apple TVs in a variety of enterprise (Non-Profit, Startup, Financial Services, etc.) and educational (K12, Higher Ed, etc.) organizations
- Hands-on experience with configuration management solution landscape, specifically ones used to configure macOS devices
- Advanced programming skills in Swift, Python, Go, Objective-C, or similar
- In-depth knowledge of Apple enterprise technologies like Apple Business Manager, Mobile Device Management Profile, Apple Configurator, Automated Device Enrollment, and more
- Comprehensive understanding of software development and quality assurance lifecycles, methodologies, and best practices
- Familiarity with Apple Management Platforms and Mobile Device Management Solutions across different deployment types, for instance, Open Source, Paid Solutions, and Managed Solution Providers
