Key Responsibilities
- Drive initiatives and provide guidance on GCP with a primary focus on managed services, ensuring the effective utilization of these services within our infrastructure
- Implement Postgres and CloudSQL database optimizations to enhance performance and efficiency
- Implement and support development teams in CI/CD pipeline work, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and automation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and tools related to 'DevSecOps', applying this knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in our infrastructure and services
- Embody a cloud-first, everything-as-code, and open-source focus, promoting these principles throughout our organization
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Strong expertise in GCP and knowledge about the utilization of managed services within GCP, with a proven track record of driving initiatives and providing guidance in this area
- Hands-on experience working with sensitive data (i.e., within PCI-DSS), demonstrating your ability to handle complex and secure data environments
- Demonstrated experience working with Github, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD, with a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Knowledge of Helm charting and CI pipelines for Java is a plus, although not essential
