About the Role & Team
We're seeking a talented Social Media Strategy & Activation Manager III to lead segments within our Disney Parks in-house paid Social Media Strategy & Activation team. As a key member of this team, you'll report to the Manager and help drive the development and execution of paid social media strategies across various platforms, including Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, TikTok, and LinkedIn. You'll be responsible for maintaining our current tech partnerships and exploring new, innovative digital platforms to stay ahead of the curve.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Paid Social Strategy: Develop and execute paid social media strategies for key segments within Parks and Resorts, driving engagement, conversions, and brand awareness.
- Improve Dynamic Strategies: Continuously monitor and optimize social media strategies to improve core social KPIs, such as ad CTRs, post engagement, cost efficiencies, and audience-specific messaging.
- Support Team Growth: Guide and support direct reports to achieve technical and personal growth, ensuring the team's overall success.
- Drive Innovation: Lead conversations to drive innovation across analytics and testing, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing new ideas.
- Platform Tool Expertise: Own key social media activation platform tools, including future partnership additions, and work with teams to identify and design tools to improve efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner across teams, organizations, and companies (media partners and agency) to improve overall technical setup and inter-departmental workflow.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- 7+ Years of Digital Marketing Experience: Proven track record in digital marketing, with a focus on social media strategy and activation.
- Leadership Experience: Ability to guide direct reports to technical and personal growth, with a caring and supportive management style.
- Social Media Expertise: Extensive experience with social media platforms and related tools, including Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Holistic Business Understanding: Strong grasp of holistic business trends and the impacts of these trends in the digital and social space.
- Paid Social Strategy: Ability to develop holistic paid social strategies that drive results.
- Autonomy and Adaptability: Comfort with a high level of autonomy and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Work Management Platforms: Familiarity with work management platforms such as Workfront, Smart Sheets, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Marketing, Business, or Analytics Background: A degree or background in Marketing, Business, Social Media, Analytics, or Statistics is a plus.
- Four-Year College Degree or Equivalent: A four-year college degree or equivalent work experience is required.
