In case of any exceptions, the NOC steps in to resolve issues, keeping all stakeholders informed on the proceedings. The team is also responsible for understanding trends in network exceptions, automating processes, and proposing process changes to streamline operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Transportation Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Driving towards simple, scalable solutions to complex problems, utilizing excellent project management skills
- Collaborating with business and operations teams to solve customer escalations, analyze historic results, and initiate programs in an environment of rapid growth and increasing complexity
- Improving visibility tools, methods, and processes to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data to internal and external partners
- Showing significant ownership of customer issues, proactively initiating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process changes as required
- Communicating effectively with internal customers, including Customer Service, Merchant Management, Logistics Management, Fulfillment Centers, Transportation Programs, and Human Resources
- Utilizing exceptional written and verbal communication skills to create compelling positioning and messaging strategies, presenting complex information clearly and concisely
- Managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong analytical, mediation, and problem-resolution skills
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field, such as computer science, engineering, or statistics
- Experience with Excel, including data analysis and visualization
- Experience with SQL, including data querying and manipulation
Preferred Qualifications
