Position Overview: Virtual Special Education Teacher
As a Virtual Special Education Teacher with VocoVision, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs. You'll use cutting-edge technology to create interactive learning experiences, collaborate with families and education professionals, and support each student's academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Create and execute tailored instructional strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Virtual Instruction and Support: Provide engaging and interactive instruction in core subjects and specialized areas, as outlined in students' IEPs.
- Digital Tools and Resources: Utilize a range of digital tools and resources to create inclusive and interactive learning experiences.
- Progress Monitoring and Assessment: Regularly monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional methods and materials as needed.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate regularly with students, families, and school staff to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
- Professional Development and Team Meetings: Participate in virtual team meetings, professional development, and collaboration with other educators to enhance instructional practices.
Qualifications: What We're Looking For
To succeed as a Virtual Special Education Teacher with VocoVision, you'll need:
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Teaching Certification: Valid teaching certification in Special Education for the state of Oregon.
