As a part-time Youth Soccer Coach with our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in your community while developing your skills and advancing your career. We're seeking enthusiastic, caring, and responsible individuals to join our Sacramento Southeast team in Elk Grove, CA. About Us Soccer Shots is a leading children's soccer program with over 10,000 locations across the U.S. and Canada, serving more than 780,000 children annually. Our unique approach focuses on skill development, character building, and teamwork, all within a fun and interactive environment we call "Soccer Island." As a Soccer Shots coach, you'll be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes early childhood education principles and provides top-notch training and support. Key Responsibilities Coach and manage Soccer Shots sessions at various locations, including daycares, preschools, community centers, and parks. Deliver the Soccer Shots curriculum, focusing on skill development and character building in 30-40 minute sessions with up to 12 children. Provide a positive and engaging experience for kids, families, and faculty at each session. Arrive on time, maintain equipment, and manage class rosters. Attend scheduled team meetings and participate in ongoing training and evaluations. Make a lasting impact on young lives, fostering a love for soccer and promoting character development. Essential Qualifications To succeed as a Youth Soccer Coach with Soccer Shots, you'll need: A passion for working with children aged 2-8 and a genuine interest in their development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with kids, parents, and staff. Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a mobile phone with data. Access to a laptop or computer for online training and video meetings. A high school diploma or equivalent. The ability to be enthusiastic, caring, and responsible in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications can enhance your application: Soccer experience or background in early childhood education. 12 accredited ECE units in Early Childhood Development. Early Childhood Educator or Student status. What We Offer At Soccer Shots, we're committed to your growth and success. As a part-time Youth Soccer Coach, you'll enjoy: Competitive compensation: $18-$22 per 30-40 minute session after completing 20 hours of training at $15 per hour. Performance bonuses and gas reimbursement. Ongoing training and certification through our comprehensive program based on early childhood education principles. Schedule Options Our part-time schedules may vary per season, with options including: Weekday mornings: 9:00am - 12:30pm. Tuesdays: 3:30pm - 7:30pm. Fridays: 3:30pm - 7:30pm.
