This role is responsible for developing the tools necessary for Personal Lines rate revisions, including auto, home, and umbrella insurance. The candidate must understand Personal Lines products and rating structures, historical rate changes, and state-specific information. Additionally, the role requires excellent technical skills and a keen attention to detail. Responsibilities Responsible for building and managing Personal Lines auto, home, and umbrella off-balance builds. Learn and understand Personal Lines insurance, company products, rate revision processes, and tools in great detail. Produce tools incorporating indications, in-force, and retention trends to adjust base rates and achieve specific rate levels for each state and product. Develop tools to calculate each policy's premium using current rates and incorporating proposed adjustments to base rates and other factors. Determine the quality of data and flag defects and discrepancies for Data Solutions. Troubleshoot and fix errors in the tools. Document changes and adjustments to tools and processes. Monitor and manage deadlines and deliverables. Communicate with State Management, Analytics, Data, Project, and Implementation teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of rate change strategies, correct tool usage, and timely delivery.
