What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Conduct medical management activities to ensure quality patient care
– Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate and manage patient care
– Review medical records and treatment plans to ensure compliance with regulations
– Provide guidance and support to patients and their families regarding medical treatment options
– Participate in medical rounds and case conferences to discuss patient care strategies

What is Required (Qualifications):
– Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
– Active RN license in the state of Maryland
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical management or healthcare coordination
– Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Certification in Case Management (CCM)
– Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
– Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
– Bilingual in English and Spanish
– Experience in a managed care setting
